Our Solution:

Automatic garage door openers use photo eye sensors to pass an invisible beam across the threshold. That way, when someone’s standing under the garage door, the opener knows not to close it. This customer’s opener wasn’t doing that, however. We checked on the wiring and the garage door sensors themselves and found that both eyes had sustained fractures. This was why they weren’t working correctly. We replaced the two garage door opener sensors and calibrated them with each other to ensure safety returns.
